I’m a married empty nester starting a new chapter of life, having moved to Chicago with my husband and our cats. I write Historical fiction, and am also an apprentice bard, which entails studying Celtic history and learning and telling folk tales. The two ventures complement each other nicely! I’m hoping, at some point, to make a living between the two of them.
Besides writing, I love traveling, gardening, and hanging out with my family. We are settling into a 1926 bungalow with big plans for improvements, which should be exciting. Or harrowing. I'm not sure which. In the summer, you’ll also find me at the Scottish Games in Illinois (Itasca, Springfield and hopefully this year in Peoria) in the Clan Campbell tent.
