Sorry I'm late.
Writing
Stalled. I just can't seem to focus. Received another declination for M, and it, too, was very positive if it just wasn't for the one bothersome issue. Which was a different issue than the first letter - in fact, she LOVED the very thing the first editor didn't. Still waiting on other publishers, but I've offered to make changes if needed.
I spoke at the Iowa Romance Novelists April meeting about being edited (complete with manuscripts, editorial letters, cover art, printer proofs, the whole shebang) and it went really well.
Life
It's mostly concerned with sleeping.
House
Basement walls are done, pipe insulation is done (there might be one little joint still to wrap) and Bill's made good progress painting the basement floor. My decluttering is not going so well, mostly because all I want to do is sleep.
Health
No real change from last week except I've lost about 2 lbs. It's probably a fluke with my scale.
Everything Else
Nothing to report. It's been very boring.

Congrats on the 2 lbs and a wonderful presentation at the conference.
Bizarre how one editor loves the very thing another can't abide by, isn't it? It'll find a home. Hang in there.
Boring isn't bad.
Good job on the two pounds. Who knew sleeping was an effective weight loss tool? Then again, if you're sleeping, you're not eating. I wonder, do you burn more calories if you dream in color? Or remember your dreams? Or run in your dreams?
On a serious note, I'm seeing a definite Eeyore blue streak in this post. It makes me want to come up there, give you a big hug, and stuff you full of fudge.
Aaack! Not fudge!!! (runs for the hills)
Seriously. I'm not a chocolate fan. Caramel, on the other hand... ;)
What about lobster? I think Wendy should bring you lobster stuffed with crap meat, hot potatoes steamed in garlic and sea salt, and sweet corn on the cob. And for dessert, a triple caramel sundae. Doesn't that sound lovely? Sigh. Hmm. I guess my low carb diet is getting to me.
Awesome about the conference!
I'm really sure he meant "crab" meat...But that does sound lovely.
ACK! CRAB MEAT! CRAB MEAT!
If Jean hadn't commented already, I'd delete and re-comment!
Sorry, guys, but I leave the cooking of all sea food to Eric. We're all better off that way. Tammy, I'm sending you a virtual caramel sundae the size of your head. I took the liberty of removing all the calories and replacing them with more caramel.
