Still kicking

Things here are things. Some good, some meh, but nothing too bad. Been struggling with my diet, the blues, the book, hormones, and most everything else, but health seems all right overall, other than my regular season-change sinus issues, the family's fine, the pets are fine, most everything is fine, other than me inside of my head.

We bought some new furniture last Sunday, a bed and a sofa sectional. The bed arrived Wednesday and we're still adjusting to it. It's a rather firm tempurpedic w/ pillows and while the firm is great, maybe it's a little too firm? We've decided to give it a month. The sectional won't arrive until mid April. Our couch is just so, so sad and with 3 adults plus a very busy toddler, it's simply not big enough.

Anyway, that's pretty much it for excitement around here.

My agent accepted Morgan a week ago this past Friday and has started pitching it, no news as to where or what the reception's been. Also no SPORE news, other than the publishers all have it and are gonna read it, but they haven't yet. One would think that six months would be PLENTY of time, but alas it is apparently not.

{{hugs}} and have a great week, everyone.

Good grief. They haven't read it yet?!!!! GRRRRRRR!!!! This. Makes. Me. Crazy. Angry! Publishers need good books--NEED THEM! While traditional publishers offer a lot to authors, there are many good reasons they are losing authors to POD.

So frustrating to have to wait for publishers to get around to reading SPORE. Grr.

We were surprised that a softer bed was preferred by our bodies. You may find that as well, but whatever it is that works for you, make sure you decide before the trial period if you're going to need to change it. It shouldn't take as long as 30 days to know if it's not right for you.

Yeah for new furniture! Not so yeah about the too firm bed. Do the have a less firm version? We've had a sleep number bad for years & it's great for us, but my dad bought one and even the squishy setting is too firm for him. He ended up getting a hospital grade foam mattress topper for extra padding.
