Elevator pitch for Hope

(Wow, that title sounds like some kind of twisted fundraiser. I'm seeing something inspired by Highland games...)

Does this cover all the bases, and does it make sense?

An Indian captive is traded to a white family to save her life, but what they really save is her soul.

I think that's a great tag line for your story!

I like it. Here's a suggestion to make it more active voice (If I could figure out a way to get "really" out of there, I would):

Indians trade a woman captive to a frontier family to save her life, but they really save her soul.
